MVS Audio Visual were announced as the global winners of the 2020 Zoom Integrator Award. The accolade was fiercely contested and to be crowned winners, we beat the finalists who were from the Asia-Pacific, Australia & New Zealand and the United States regions.
The virtual ‘Zoom Global Partner Awards’ ceremony was attended by 1400 guests and provided the ideal opportunity for Zoom, the video conferencing specialists, to demonstrate their gratitude and to celebrate the achievements of its partners around the world.
The ‘2020 Zoom global Integrator award’ presented by Nick Chong, Zoom’s Head of Global Support & Service was one of the top awards of the event. We were announced the winners for our excellent record of customer service, adoption of the Zoom philosophy and superior installations across Europe.
Eric Yuan, CEO of Zoom Video Communications congratulated us saying:
“All of us at Zoom pride ourselves on helping the world stay connected during these unprecedented times. It is only because of the support we receive from partners like you that we were able to deliver on this goal in 2020”.
Other Global awards recognised at the event included the Global Carrier Innovation Award, won by BT, as well as awards focused on services to Public Sector, Collaboration and UCaaS.
Simon Hurst, Managing Director of MVS Audio Visual said:
“We are beyond proud to be announced as winners of the 2020 global Integrator Award. The team has worked extremely hard delivering Zoom Room projects to our clients throughout the UK and Europe. We are strong advocates for Zoom and will continue to strive to be the best integration & installation partner globally throughout 2021.”
Working with Zoom
We began working directly with Zoom in 2018 as a certified installer before quickly progressing to Partner status in February 2019 and awarded Neat Partner in 2020. To provide businesses with superior video conferencing, MVS is committed to the ongoing development of its staff and as a result, members of their team attended Zoomtopia in California last year. This event inspired MVS to achieve the milestone of becoming the very first Gold Tier Certified Zoom Integrator globally.
“A Zoom Room is typically a meeting room, furnished with technology that allows employees to join a zoom meeting without the need of a Laptop or iPad” explains Simon Hurst. “Covid-19 has seen the same technology now being used in everyday life whether that be home offices, Education, places of worship, Healthcare, Gyms, and even as a way of communicating with loved ones in care homes.”
One of the showcase video conferencing projects that we have been involved in was their deployment to install a top of the range AV system using Zoom Room hardware, at the new offices of London based management consultants, The Berkeley Partnership. Selected via a competitive tender process, we were successful ahead of multiple AV integrators due to our knowledge, attention to detail and passion for what they do.
Other notable businesses who we have worked with recently include; Curtis Wright, Gama Aviation, Dorset NHS Trust, Lush Cosmetics, Carlisle Fluids, Eberspaecher and Aim Aviation. Works have included fitting out meeting rooms with video conferencing technology as well as digital signage systems to keep staff up to date with information.
Bright future for MVS
In response to what all this will mean for MVS going forward, Head of Sales at MVS, Alistair Maher said:
“Being recognised for our expertise in the Zoom platform will aid us in the demonstration to future clients that we are at the top of our game with regards to Zoom integration. It will also enhance the close relationship we have with Zoom and allow us to continue the work we have been doing with them on relaying what businesses want in this current climate”.
